Parental controls give you the ability to set viewing restrictions on your FiberTV services.

Parental Controls
Access Parental Controls
Press Menu
Arrow down to highlight Settings.
Arrow right to the middle column.
Arrow down to highlight Parental Controls.
Arrow right to the Parental column.
Change Your Pin
You will need your pin to make updates to parental controls and view restricted content. To change your pin, follow these steps.
Your default pin number is 0000.
Ratings Pin — Used for channel and movie ratings
Purchase Pin — Used when making PPV purchases
Access Parental Controls.
Highlight Change Pin.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Enter Old Pin.
Arrow down.
Enter New Pin.
Arrow down.
Re-enter New Pin.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Time Restrictions
You can also set time restrictions for viewing.
Access Parental Controls.
Highlight Time Restrictions.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Enter Ratings Pin.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Press the Green button to Add Restriction.
Arrow right/left and down/up to set time restrictions. (Restrictions will apply to all channels.)
Press the Exit button to Save.
Lock Channels
You can lock channels so they cannot be viewed without entering your pin.
Access Parental Controls.
Highlight Edit Locked.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Enter Ratings Pin.
Press OK button on your remote.
Arrow down/up to the channels you would like to lock.
Press the OK button to mark the channels you want to add to the list. (If you select a channel by mistake, highlight it and click OK to unmark it.)
Press the Blue button to Save your changes.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Set Ratings
You can restrict the channels that can be viewed by rating. In order to view a restricted channel, you will need to enter your pin.
TV Rating — TV channel ratings
Movie Rating — Movie ratings
Arrow right/left to select the rating you would like to restrict for each category.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Options
You can decide whether or not to show locked and restricted channels.
Access Parental Controls.
Highlight Options.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Enter Ratings Pin.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Arrow right/left to select Yes or No.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Creating Favorites
If you have channels you watch on a regular basis, you can create a favorites list to access them quickly.
Note: There are default Favorites lists pre-created for you. To create a customized list, follow these steps.
Access Edit Favorites
Press Menu.
Arrow down to highlight Settings.
Arrow right to middle column.
Arrow down to highlight Edit Favorites.
Press the OK button on your remote.
This will create a [New List]. All available channels will be displayed under [New List].
Choose your channels
Arrow up/down to find the desired channels.
Press the OK button to find to mark the channels you want to add to the list. (If you select a channel by mistake, highlight it and click OK to unmark it).
Once you’ve marked all your channels, name your list.
Name you list
Press the Yellow button on your remote.
Use the arrow buttons to highlight the letter(s).
Press the OK button after each letter.
Once you have the full list name entered, arrow down to Submit.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Save your list
Press the Blue button on your remote.
Press the OK button on your remote.
Return to the Main Menu.
Once you’ve saved your list, you can return to the Main Menu.
Press the Exit button on the remote.
Accessing Favorites
Once you’ve created your Favorites list, you can follow these steps to access it.
Access Edit Favorites
Press the FAV button on your remote.
Arrow down to the list name.
Press the OK button on your remote.
A star will appear in front of your lists you create.
Browsing channels in Favorites list
Channels within Favorites list will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Arrow up/down to view channel information.
Press the OK button to choose a channel.
